The Best & Safest Baby Bouncer!!

Speaking as a Mum of four children, aged between eight and 2 months, I have to say that this has been my best 'baby buy'.
I discovered this bouncer with my third child and loved it immediately, it is very comfy and my little lad used to fall asleep in it easily with its natural gentle rocking motion. It is also, and most importantly, very safe with its weighted bottom, making it impossible to topple, no matter how far forward they lean.
I had Mothercare bouncers with my first two children, the first broke and the material ripped and with my second child at six months, they bounced forward and landed on their face.
I cannot rate this product highly enough and even though it is a considerable amount of money to lay out, they really hold their price, making the secondhand resale value great!! |

| Very practical chair from every respect. Great for baby and great for mum and dad too. It's comfortable and she loves being in it - it's super easy to get her in and out too. No need to fiddle about with straps etc as baby just slips right in. Best part - fabric whips off in seconds goes straight in the washing machine, washes beautifully and is dry in hours. If you're going to buy a bouncy chair buy this one! |
A Super Bouncer

| We bought this bouncer for our newborn, with a view to growing as he does. It has three height settings, a machine washable cover, that is also reversible if you fancy a change. It is finely balanced so that even at his stage our son's movements initiate bouncing - occasionally it seems the only thing that will settle him. Yes it is more expensive than other bouncers but we feel well worth the money. |
One of my best baby buys

I wanted a baby chair that wouldn't have all the gizmos but was quality and this fits the bill.
Good points:
- Has three heights - play, rest and sleep. I've been told the play height is one of the highest available in baby seats and it's nice to have your baby sat up than reclined back all the time. It's easy to have them facing you to interact with them. It's also worked well for our son who's got reflux.
- The cover comes off easily and is reversible and easily washed. If one side gets dirty (or you fancy a change) you can whip off the cover and turn it round effectively getting more use out of the chair. The same can be done with the front panel. Just two bits of elastic attach at the bottom and you pull the cover from the top.
- It copes with a growing baby into toddler-dom. The panel comes off and can be used as a conventional seat for older children, thus getting more usage for your money.
- It folds up almost flat. Ultra portable so comes everywhere with us as my son enjoys sitting it, and it's always good to have somewhere for your baby to sit when you're at people's houses but they don't want to sleep.
- The chair bounces when the baby kicks. I've seen my son make the connection between him kicking and the chair bouncing and he loves it.
- You can easily move the height down while your baby is in the chair, although not sure if this is recommended. If they fall asleep, the lowest setting will make sure your baby sleeps with their head in an easier position for them to breathe.
Bad points:
- After several washes the Baby Bjorn logo is starting to peel off. Not a big deal at all.
I bought the toy bar to go with the seat and also think that's a great buy. I would happily recommend this. |

there are so many bouncers out there and it can be hard to find one that is simple and not battery powered with all the bells and whistles. i was cautious about the price of this but it really changed my life giving my clingy baby a place to sit and watch the world go by. pluses are that it comes assembled -- is fully washable -- and is light enough to carry around the house and outside. it also folds flat for taking to friends houses in the boot of the car.
i really can't say enough good -- only downside is price as if they were cheaper i would certainly buy another one to have one upstairs and one down.
highly recommended. |

| Our Sitter has successfully taken us through two kids. If people ask me about my best baby-buy I always say this. We keep it in the bathroom which means you can shower/bathe and go to the toilet whilst keeping them close, but safe. Very strong and sturdy; my guess is I'd have bought two or three cheaper models given the use we've had out of it and length of time we've had it. |

I ordered the babybjorn chair on recommendation of a friend. I tried to get one from an auction site second hand, but they seem to hold their value and are so popular I was unsucessful, but feel I got a good price on Amazon.
My baby loves this chair and as she has almost grown out of her normal bouncy seat it is great to have one that will last for another year (she is 6 months now). She is able to sit quite upright in the chair so she can play and see what is going on around her too, and it reclines into a good position for sleeping too. We have had lots of comments from friends about the 'lovely chair, very stylish' too.
I would recommend saving up for this and getting it instead of a normal cheaper chair and wish I had got it sooner! |

| I'd recommend the Balance to any new parent. It looks stylish, is light enough to move around the house and is very easy to manoeuvre baby in and out of. Its also easily assembled and folds neatly for storage which is ideal when you bear in mind how much stuff a little person seems to need! It doesn't have the bells and whistles that come with some other bouncers (which my baby hasn't really missed) but I'd say that at the relatively high price of the Balance, the toy bar really ought to be included. Definitely one of my best buys. |
